His unique action makes it difficult for the batters alongside his exceptional skillset. He has picked up 173 wickets in 40 test matches at an incredible average of just 20.57 and a bowling strike rate of 44.60. Glenn Maxwell also talked about Bumrah’s unique action and skillset.

He said, “His release point, because he releases it from so far out in front of himself, almost feels like he can change where he’s bowling right at the last moment. Unbelievable slow ball, great yorker, and can swing it both ways; he’s got a brilliant wrist, and he’s got a good sniff. It feels like he’s got all the tricks of a really good fast bowler”.

Reports are that Glenn Maxwell will be Australia’s new T20I captain for the series against Pakistan. Both Mitchell Marsh and Pat Cummins are unavailable for this series.
