Yuzvendra Chahal is a very popular personality on social media. The India leg-spinner is quite active and regularly puts up posts. However, in the last few days, he has become the talk of the town.
There are rumours that he may be parting ways with his wife Dhanashree Verma. Both individuals have unfollowed each other on Instagram. In fact, Chahal has even removed all his pictures with Dhanashree. Thus, there are reports that the two celebrities could be heading towards a divorce.
His latest Instagram story also triggered the same. He did not explicitly state anything but he put out a story on hard work.
Chahal’s Instagram story read, “Hard work spotlights the character of people. You know your journey. You know your pain. You know what all you have done to reach here. The world knows. You stand tall. You have worked with all your sweat to make your father and your mother proud. Keep standing tall like a proud son always.”
There are some reports that stated that the differences between the couple have got to a point where it cannot be resolved further. Sources close to them have revealed that “divorce is inevitable.”
Dhanashree who is a dance choreographer and an actor got engaged to Chahal back in August 2020. The duo tied the knot later that year in December in a private ceremony. The couple was quite famous on social media and they have posted a lot of reels, videos and pictures together over the last four years. However, the love story seems to be coming to an end.

The Haryana leg-spinner has featured in a competitive game during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He returned with 10 wickets in seven games at an economy rate of 4.76. He couldn’t really make an impact in the two Ranji Trophy games that he played. He was picked up by Punjab Kings for a whopping sum of INR 18 crore and became the most expensive spinner in the history of the league. In the 2024 season, he took 18 wickets in 15 matches for Rajasthan Royals.
Chahal last represented India back in August 2023 in a T20I against West Indies in the USA. He was a part of India’s squad that lifted the Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. However, he didn’t play a single game. He wasn’t a part of India’s plans post the title win.
