Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara has joined the ‘Sachin Tendulkar Foundation’ as the director of the NGO. Sachin shared this news on his social media handle on ‘X’.
Sachin’s post read. “I’m overjoyed to share that my daughter Sara Tendulkar has joined the @STF_India as Director”.
It further said, “She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London. As she embarks on this journey to empower India through sports, healthcare, and education, it serves as a reminder of how global learning can come full circle”.
Sara Tendulkar is 27 years old and has a Master’s in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition from University College London. She is the eldest child of Sachin and his wife, Anjali Tendulkar.
The bio on the Foundation’s website says, “As the eldest child of Sachin and Dr Anjali Tendulkar, the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation holds a special place· in her heart, and she now supports its mission as a director in a non-board-member capacity”, about Sara.
The Sachin Tendulkar Foundation
The Sachin Tendulkar Foundation is an NGO established by the legendary cricketer and his wife Anjali Tendulkar in September 2019. Anjali Tendulkar is a pediatrician and a philanthropist. The NGO works to provide healthcare to children born with cleft lip and palate impairments. They also aim to provide better opportunities to the children.
Anjali Tendulkar is also a director at the NGO. The former cricketer alongside his family spent this year’s Diwali with the kids at the NGO.
In other news, Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar got picked up by the Mumbai Indians for INR 30 lacs in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Arjun was previously with the Mumbai Indians and will continue with them for IPL 2025.
Sara Tendulkar recently shared on her Instagram about her trip with her brother Arjun Tendulkar to Dubai. “First siblings’ trip. Let’s go”, it said in the post.
